This is a photo labeled, "French Indochina Moi people" The photos is of a group of 9 people; a man on the far right smoking his pipe, and squating beside him are an older woman and 7 girls of various ages, a few half naked. They could be members of a family. All except the younger ones also have penetrated and much pulled down ear lobes with multiple large earings. These are mostly likely a tribe of hill and mountain people photographed during the late 1940s or early 1950s before the Vietnam War. Similar people, like the Montagnards and the Hmong fought along side American troops during the Vietnam War.
